Warm family gathering in Bangkok

Our story

Helping Families Find a Shared Language for Wealth

Panyarat was founded on the belief that when families communicate openly about financial matters, every generation is better positioned — not just materially, but in trust, clarity, and connection.

Who we are

Built Around a Real Gap in Thai Family Life

Panyarat was established in Bangkok after years of observing a consistent pattern: Thai families with significant resources — property, savings, business interests, family obligations — often had no shared framework for discussing those resources across generations.

Cultural norms in Thailand frequently discourage direct conversations about money between parents and adult children. Elders may feel the subject is too delicate to raise; younger members may feel it is not their place to ask. The result is a silence that can leave families unprepared when decisions become unavoidable.

Our courses were designed to bridge that silence — not by providing financial products or investment advice, but by equipping families with the language, structures, and confidence to have these conversations themselves. We work with adults over 40 because that is often when the stakes of those conversations begin to rise.

Our Mission

To help Thai families over 40 develop the communication skills and shared frameworks they need to coordinate wealth, values, and responsibility across generations.

Our Vision

A Thailand where financial literacy within the family is treated with the same care as financial literacy in the market — understood, discussed, and passed forward with intention.

Our Values

Patience, cultural sensitivity, and a deep respect for the complexity of family relationships. We never push families to move faster than they are ready to.

How we work

Our Standards and Approach

Confidentiality

All information shared in sessions remains strictly private. Families speak freely knowing their financial details and family dynamics will not be disclosed.

Qualified Facilitation

Our facilitators hold formal qualifications in communication, mediation, and adult education, complemented by years of direct experience with Thai families.

Neutral Facilitation

We do not advocate for any financial product, institution, or investment approach. Our courses are structured to support family decision-making, not to direct it.

Thai Legal Awareness

The advanced course content reflects current Thai legal frameworks for wealth transfer and family asset governance, keeping participants accurately informed.

Inclusive Participation

Courses are structured so that all family members — regardless of financial background or experience — can participate meaningfully without feeling excluded.

Ongoing Refinement

We review course content annually and gather participant feedback after each cohort to ensure material remains relevant, clear, and culturally appropriate.

Family Wealth Communication in Bangkok and Across Thailand

Panyarat works with Thai adults and families navigating the practical and personal dimensions of shared wealth. Our courses are rooted in Bangkok but serve families across Thailand — both in person at our Charoenkrung office and through online sessions for those outside the capital.

The questions families bring to us are rarely purely financial. They ask how to introduce the subject of property without upsetting an elderly parent. They ask how to structure a conversation about inheritance that respects seniority while involving adult children. They ask how to write down shared family financial values in a form that everyone can return to. These are the conversations our courses are built to support.

Our approach draws on principles from family systems communication, adult learning methodology, and Thai cultural frameworks for intergenerational respect. We do not offer a generic international course with a Thai translation — our content was developed in Thailand, for Thai families, by people who understand the particular dynamics that shape financial conversations here.

For families in Bang Rak, Silom, Sathorn, Thonglor, and surrounding areas, in-person sessions offer the most connected experience. For families in Chiang Mai, Phuket, Khon Kaen, or further afield, our online format provides the same course quality with scheduling flexibility.
